Davi
Davi likes listening to music, is curious about his toys, and enjoys watching cartoons, playing on ipads, and playing outdoors. Davi interacts well with familiar people. In fact, he loves spending time interacting with his caretaker more than anything else and will smile happily when teased. He loves to explore his surroundings and his favorite location is the kitchen. As of his most recent update, Davi was just starting to walk independently, but was unable to run or jump yet. He can speak baby words, express his likes and dislikes through his facial expressions, and recognize the faces of those he knows. We are loving Davi’s recent photos and videos- don’t miss them! Who will be the lucky family to bring this sweetheart home?
His current agency has a $1500 agency grant available for Davi’s adoption, and also requires that families interested in adopting him need an approved home study to apply.
Calvin
Update May 2020: Calvin can sit alone, crawl around the mats, and walk on the flat ground without falling down. He is quite active, crawling or walking on the mats, playing with his favorite toys. He shakes toys, passes them between his hands, and grabs the smaller toys as well. Occasionally, he speaks “Mama, Papa,” and wants to be held. When he wants to eat, he will speak “Mama.” When he talks with other kids of his age nearby, he will make a “midada” sound to express his friendliness. His uttering “a~a~o~o~” is used to attract attention, mainly with body language, such as reaching out his hands for a hug when seeing his favorite caretaker is nearby. When seeing strangers, he will cry.
He responds to his teachers and caretakers by coming up when they call his name. He understands simple instructions. For example, when the teacher say we go out to play, he will walk to the door and wait for his caretakers to help him change clothes and put on shoes. When the caretakers say that we were going to have dinner, he would take the towel out by himself and wait for his caretakers to deliver the meal. He prefers to be in a familiar environment with those he knows. When a stranger approaches and holds him, he will feel nervous and sometimes cry. When the stranger plays with him for a while, he will be willing to let the stranger hold him or play with him. Calvin loves music, imitates his teachers, and moves his body according to the music rhythm. He is happy to listen to the music. Calvin has two close friends; he likes his teachers and caretakers to play with him.
There is a $1,000 agency grant for Calvin’s adoption with his current adoption agency!

Quintin’s file was prepared when he was one year and nine months of age. At that time, he could walk while holding onto an adult’s hand and could even take a few steps without holding on. He was saying one or two words at that time, such as “baba” or “ajie.” Quintin could be naughty at times. He liked throwing things, especially if it was something he didn’t know how to play with. He can understand adult’s simple instructions. His foster family was working on potty training him. They describe Quintin as sunny, busy, and smiley and say that he loves outdoor activities.

Houston is a precious and smiley little guy! Houston can roll over, sit alone steadily, and crawl. He can stand with his hands held and he can change position easily, including going from a kneeling to sitting position. When there are toys beyond him, he crawls to reach them. Houston likes colorful toys and balls. He likes to bounce balls and bang two toys together to make sounds. Houston loves a lively environment and will crawl to a place with many children and sit down to observe the caretaker and children’s activities. He knows how to grab his favorite toy and how to throw the toy he dislikes away from him. Houston also enjoys interacting with the caretaker and playing peek-a-boo with her. He knows some simple instructions, such as “Come here,” “Have a meal,” and “Clap your hands.” Houston will crawl to the caretaker quickly and imitate putting a phone to his ear. He is curious about new toys and familiar with his own name. He turns when called and will respond to the caretaker’s facial expressions. When the weather is good, the caretakers take him to play outdoors. Houston has a good appetite and knows how to use a spoon. He can chew and swallow and can eat biscuits without help.
