We are the Smith family. Aleta worked at an orphanage on the edge of the Jungle in Ecuador, in 2010. This is where I met my little brother, who my parents completed his adoption in 2014. Fast forward and here we are! Ethan and Aleta Smith have been married for six years and are pursuing the adoption of a boy with Down Syndrome from Ecuador. Ecuador has been near and dear to our hearts for many years now. We have wanted to grow our family through adoption and have been praying for our waiting child for many years now. We have a small farm in Missouri and cannot wait for him to experience the slower pace of farm life, enjoy fresh air and space to run and play.

Our homestudy is in final review and our dossier is waiting for a completed home study to send our dossier documents off.  We are truly grateful for any financial assistance to bring our forever child home!
