This week we were saddened to learn the fate of one of our former Russian Waiting Children, Kyle. He has been transferred to an institution where his care has not been good. His new photo is startling and horrific.
It was painfully decided over the summer to reallocate our Russian children’s grants. <!- When the reality that the ban would not be overturned removed our present hope of being able to advocate for the Russian children, we chose to give the children we still CAN help, the opportunity to find families. --> We feel this is a way to honour those children who are now locked behind a curtain of political strong arming, a current day holocaust.
The list of which children the Russian children’s grants went to will be added below so that if you choose, you can help us in our efforts to bring these children home sooner. We have not forgotten our Russian children and we ask that you not either.
By clicking on the ‘I will never stop praying‘ graphic, above, you can get the code to put that button on your blog or you can right-click the image to download it to your desktop to add to your Facebook wall.
THANK YOU for continuing to pray for these children and all of our families who are caught in the middle of this. I can’t even put into words how horrible it is to have worked so hard to FIND all of these children, and then to have to pretend they don’t even exist. We ask your prayers for strength, courage, and wisdom. Praise Him for the opportunity to save as many as we have. Praise Him for the chance for better care and true social change to finally begin in Russia. Ask Him for courage to bear these coming months, filled with heartache and a sense of loss, but with the hope of CHANGE.
New King James Version (NKJV)
25 But thus says the Lord:
“Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away,
And the prey of the terrible be delivered;
For I will contend with him who contends with you,
And I will save your children.
Reece’s Rainbow will be here when and if these children need us again.
