LANA for the Garrick family — MS
Sean and Tonya have been married for almost 15 years and have 2 WONDERFUL boys, Caleb and Jacob. They have been involved in various types of ministry, including foster care. Fostering and adopting has always had a place in their hearts. Most recently, God really made clear that they were to adopt internationally. Tonya started scouring the Internet, looking for programs and answers to questions and discovered the “waiting child” list that many agencies have. They didn’t have a specific country that they felt drawn to, so they kept looking at the list. Their family has experienced what it’s like to have a child with developmental delays and knows that a child can flourish with the right dedication! Realizing that children with special needs may be harder to find adoptive families for, they decide to pursue this path.
After many (MANY) hours of clicking through websites, pictures and asking every question imaginable, they found their girl! They would take a break and come back to check the list again and she would still be there. Waiting for them! So, the paper chase and money saving began!
Their sweet girl, Lana (soon to be Julianna!) is waiting at an orphanage to come home. And back home in the southern USA, there are 2 little boys that are ready for their sister! This family is so excited to add another sweet member to their family. They are ready to bring her HOME.
