NAYA for the Phelps family — MS
Mike and Rebecca have five children ranging in age of 4 years old to 17 years old. Their youngest two children were brought into the family through China’s Waiting Child Program. It was during these adoption journeys that their eyes were opened to the orphan crisis worldwide.
As an adoptee, adoption has always been a major part of Rebecca’s life. The entire family has fallen in love with the call of adoption on their lives and are thrilled that God had led them to China once again, this time for a precious little girl who was born with down syndrome.
Mike and Rebecca are heavily involved with Special Needs Ministry and actually were one of three couples who founded a year-round camp for children with disabilities. It is through this experience, that Mike and Rebecca have met numerous friends who are such an inspiration and also serve as a tremendous source of support.
