JOSEPH for the Perry family — SC

Daniel and Kimberly were high school sweethearts.  When Kimberly went away to college, Daniel decided to follow her there.  They dated all through college and got married a little over a month after graduating.  They had their first son a year later.  They knew they wanted to have a big family, and in their 10 years of Marriage they have been blessed with four biological children.  People are always asking them how many children they would like to have and their first born always responds” twelve!”  They would just be happy with however many God called them to.

Daniel is a software engineer and Kimberly went to school to be a Special Education teacher before she had her first child and stayed home with him.  They feel very blessed to be able to home school them.
Daniel and Kimberly came across Reece’s Rainbow a year ago this past March and it has truly changed them.  They knew they wanted to adopt a special needs child when the saw how many children were in need of loving homes.  A Mom, Dad, siblings to love them and a home was something they knew they could provide.  They are a little nervous because they are taking on the incredible responsibility to adopt a two year old boy with Down Syndrome having not had any biological children with Down Syndrome themselves but they are confident that God will be with them and will equip them in every way necessary to be the best family they can be for him.  All of their children are incredibly excited about having another brother.
