SONG GUO for the Whicker family — MT

Curtis and Tana are parents to 12 wonderful children, and were quite content with their “small” family. They completed their last adoption nearly 4 years ago, and felt strongly that they were DONE. One day, however, God made it clear that they were most certainly NOT done, and that a little someone was still missing. That someone is Miss “Pinecone” (her Chinese name – really!) in China!

 

Curtis and Tana have 4 birth children, 3 from China, 3 from Haiti, and 2 from Ethiopia. One of their daughters is deaf and uses bilateral cochlear implants, and another has albinism and is legally blind. Having parented children with special needs already, and having discovered the joys and blessings that come with these amazing children, they recognized that sweet Miss Pinecone would fit right in and be loved beyond expression in their home. God’s plan for the Whicker family is so much better than anything they could have dreamed up for themselves, and they are putting their faith and trust in Him as they await the arrival of their precious new daughter – lucky number 13!
