ALEX for the Windley-Daoust family — MN
Susan and Jerry have four biological kids, ages 11-almost 2. Although they had talked about adopting when they were first dating, life quickly became very full with so many young kids! Susan is a theology professor at Saint Mary’s University in Minnesota, and was doing some research on Christian outreach to people with disabilities when she came across a person adopting with help from Reeces Rainbow. After live-interviewing Andrea for her undergraduate ethics class (!), she became convinced to support the ministry. And after she and Jerry helped advocate for two children (“Tori” and “Anthony”), she and Jerry realized that they were called to bring one home to their own family. Jerry is a stay at home dad and free lance writer, and they are relying on the providence of God and the kindness of strangers to help them welcome one of these beautiful children home. They firmly believe God wants all children to have a family, and that love is not divided, but multiplied by more. They look forward to the challenges and graces another child brings.
