SHANNON for the Shpak family — MI
Ron and Shannon Shpak, married 14 years and have 5 children: Noah(10), Asher(8), Lily(5), Isaac(3)and Ethan(1). Their youngest son, Ethan, has Down Syndrome and was adopted in the US via the National Down Syndrome Adoption Network. Ron works as a Cabinet Specialist and Shannon stays home with the children and homeschools. Both Ron and Shannon always knew they would adopt. Ron worked as a volunteer with the Special Olympics for years and Shannon as a Special Education teacher. They both felt called to Down Syndrome. “And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God” Micah 6:8” After years of praying about an international Down Syndrome adoption, Ron and Shannon have decided to follow God’s call with reckless abandon. They were led to “Shannon” and know without a doubt, this beautiful little girl is the missing piece of their family. Completely trusting in the hand of God and taking it one day at a time, they will go above and beyond to bring her home where she belongs. Prayers or donations on behalf of “Shannon” are so greatly appreciated, as they set out on this rescue mission.
