DAVIS for the Jupin family — AL

John and Amy met in college and have been married for 10 years. They have three children: Josh (9), Anna (7) and Ben (4). When Ben was born, they were surprised to discover he had designer genes, otherwise known as Trisomy 21 or Down syndrome. Ben was also born with two congenital heart defects which were surgically- repaired when he was only 3 months old. Very quickly, Ben had the entire family wrapped around his little finger! He has brought so much happiness and light into the Jupin home!
When John and Amy discovered Reece’s Rainbow last year, their hearts were broken. How could these children, who look so much like their own sweet Ben boy, not have loving homes filled with doting parents and siblings? They began making small donations to several families and following some of their adoption blogs. But still adoption seemed so out of reach.
Then one day, while looking at RR, Amy saw the picture of a little boy that reminded her so much of her other children. That night, she showed it to John and he agreed that maybe they should do more. Maybe they should adopt too. Following their hearts, the Jupin family is beginning the process of bringing home their fourth child, Davis, a little boy from Russia, the same age as their Ben. They have no doubt that Davis will soon have them all wrapped around his little finger too!
