Yvette
Yvette is very sensible. When one of her little friends cry, she will take a small towel or napkin to wipe the tears and nose of the little friend to comfort them. She can unzip and take off her coat and take off her shoes and socks. Yvette will clap her hands and laugh when she is happy. She will cry when she is not happy, but if you reach out and hug her, she will show her smile again. Yvette likes to play with bowls and spoons and pretends to eat by herself, often making an “A-mu, A-mu” sound while pretending to scoop rice with a spoon. She also likes to swing and play ball. Every time she swings high, she will laugh loudly! She also likes to imitate her rehabilitation teacher, helping her friends with cerebral palsy by massaging their legs and moving her arms. Yvette has normal eating and sleeping habits. She was born with Down syndrome and congenital heart defect-complete atrioventricular common channel (CAVC), ASD, and VSD. She’s had surgery to repair her heart defects. Yvette sounds like an amazing little girl who is going to be such a blessing to a very lucky family!
Yvette has a $1000 grant with her current adoption agency.
