August is a cute little boy with bright eyes. He likes to play with toys that make sounds and loves to hear and see the changes in tune and light, as his hands play with the toys. August also loves to swing in the sensory room.

There is a $1,000 agency fee reduction for August’s adoption with a specific agency! August needs a family with an approved home study to be able to move forward with adopting him. If you are interested in learning more about, or adopting, August – the agency would be happy to assist you.

Videos from February 2021 show Joshua walking, sweeping with a broom, putting butter on a slice of bread with a knife, getting his hair cut, using a needle & thread, using a pencil, watching Blues Clues and responding at appropriate times, feeding himself with a spoon and pouring his own drink into a cup, talking and responding verbally to questions and playing with legos.
Joshua’s medical report indicates that he spent the first 4 years of his life in an orphanage. His right leg is slightly shorter than his left leg. He walks “swinging his right leg out” and his lower limbs are tight. He takes Baclofen to help with this. He’s diagnosed with mental delays, though he’s made significant improvement since being removed from the orphanage and placed in a foster family a year ago. He can ride a scooter, build with legos, and catch small objects. His attention span has greatly improved since leaving the orphanage. He can now attend to tasks for longer periods, including watching an hour-long TV show. He can memorize short poems/verses. He speaks in short sentences and can understand and follow directions. His behavior has improved since leaving the orphanage. He’s attending a day program for kindergarten. He enjoys playing with toy vehicles and can name the parts of a car. He is toilet trained, brushes his teeth and feeds himself.

Aleks is a sweet boy who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. He receives physical therapy and is working on bearing weight and sitting independently. He is active and alert and smiles whenever anyone interacts with him. He loves playing with all the kids and gives big laughs. He enjoys music class and shakes the bells. He dances by kicking his legs and making his chair rock.

Kinsley is a beautiful little girl who loves to look pretty. She likes to wear red, pink, and yellow dresses. She also loves accessories like hair clips, earrings, and bracelets. She loves to play with dolls and she also likes to play pretend teacher. Kinsley loves cats. She also loves to watch Princess Sofia. Kinsley is active and likes to swim, ride her bike, and play at the park. We hope this little sweet girl will find her forever family soon!

Kinsley is eligible for a $10,000 grant with the LPA, as long as the family joins LPA!

Kinsley needs a family with an approved home study to be able to lock her file or submit a letter of intent to adopt her. A family without a home study can look at her redacted file. If you are interested in reviewing Kinsley’s file or in adopting Kinsley, the agency would be happy to assist you.

Kurt is described as bright and mischievous. His file indicates that he has a very strong comprehensive ability and he understands what his caretakers are saying to him. His file shows he can express himself through single words, such as no. If he wants an item and he cannot reach himself, he knows to point to the object indicating he needs assistance.

Kurt gets along well with his caretakers and other children; he helps others put on their shoes and will attend to someone if they fall. According to his file, Kurt can help his caretakers with chores, and he can have meals unassisted. His file highlights that he is a smiley boy who has a desire to have a family of his own.

 

Brent is described as a shy, smiley, and joyous boy! His file states that he likes music and playing with his rattle drum. Brent can crawl and has good dexterity. He can pick up tiny objects with his index finger and thumb.

Emery can move using a walker and can make a few steps with support, too. Specialists are working with her to continue to strengthen her legs and are hopeful that she’ll become more independently mobile. Emery likes listening to music and is able to reproduce some of them. She can say a few words and makes short sentences as well. She receives support and intervention from specialists in the local community. She likes to receive an individual attention. She has emotional bonds with adults. She eats by herself and her sleep is calm.

Adeline is communicative with children and adults. She answers questions. Her expressive and impressive speech is developing. She follows verbal directions. She demonstrates a desire for emotional closeness. She willingly interacts with children and adults. She has established friendly relationships with her classmates. She loves listening music and dancing, as well as, drawing and coloring. She has delays in academics and receives support from a resource teacher at school.

Krystina can walk and feed herself. She responds to her name and follows simple directions, but she doesn’t talk. Her thyroid levels are checked by an endocrinologist every 6 months.
