Warner is diagnosed with deformity of hands and feet. He has one toe on each foot and one finger on each hand, but he does not let that stop him from doing anything…he’s one amazing and resilient kid!

Warner’s file is outdated, so his current agency is trying to get an update. From his Oct. 2011 file: Warner has good common sense and can sing songs he sees on TV. He takes his quilt and goes to bed when the caretaker tells him to. He can play and eat with his hand holding the toy or bottle just like any other child, even if the toy is small. His intelligence and language development are normal. Warner likes imitating the grown-ups’ behaviors and he is curious about everything. Warner is described as a lovely character and as optimistic. He is an intelligent child who has great ability to learn new things and he is happy to play with others. His favorite thing to do was play in the ball pit. Look at all the things Warner can do! He is not going to let anything get in his way or stop him. Will you be the lucky family who makes Warner your son?

Victor is an incredibly helpful and thoughtful 10 year old boy. Victor is living in an orphanage. This sweet boy is so sensitive to the needs and feelings of others. One of his favorite activities is playing on the slide, but if he sees a younger child at the orphanage waiting to go down the slide he will make sure that they get to go first.

Victor spent a short time living in a program home for children who are blind. He made great progress at this home. During this time, his caregivers reported that every day after school, Victor would help his teachers tidy up the classroom without being asked, then would sing the younger children to sleep with the songs he learned in school that day.

The agency is urgently seeking a family that is experienced in parenting children with trauma from hard places, and who can provide Victor with unconditional nurturing care so that he can heal and thrive as a cherished son.

Victor’s current agency is offering a $3000 reduction in fees.

Ty is a handsome little guy who will be 5 years old in September. He was found abandoned when he was about 4 months old. His initial exam at the orphanage discovered he has microtia affecting his right ear. Ty is able to hear. In fact, the orphanage staff reports his hearing is very good! Ty also has an absence of iris in both eyes. They have diagnosed him with cataracts, however, with the iris issue, he may have aniridic keratopathy. Ty’s file was done when he was 2 years old, and we are waiting for more recent info. At 2, he was climbing into and out of his crib, and loved to play with toys. Ty was imitating, and saying a few words. His receptive speech was very good. Ty (at 2) did not like to be alone. That is the one time he would be very sad, Ty needs a family…one with several kids would be great! That way, he would always have someone around to play with. No more loneliness! Ty is waiting for you!

He was able at 17 months to say “nainai” (grandmother) but it was not very clear. Tyran lives with a foster grandmother who loves him, but he does not appear to have access to any needed therapies. Tyran needs a family not only to love him as he grows, but can provide the therapies he will need to reach his full potential.

Sweet Tobias was found abandoned at the approximate age of six. SIX..can you even imagine? Tobias has only been in the care of this orphanage for about a year and he recently turned seven years old. At the time he came into care, he was not communicating with anyone, was not potty trained, and had trouble dressing and undressing himself. Most likely a part of that had to do with his profound sadness of losing his family at that age. With the help of his caretakers, now he can look at books, use a spoon to eat independently, can tell the teacher when he needs to go to the bathroom, and he can cooperate with people when they help him get dressed. He sometimes likes to play with other children and he is currently receiving language rehabilitation. Tobias was sent to live in a foster family but attends the school in the orphanage during the daytime hours, where he plays games with the other children and the teacher.Tobias is introverted, but has a ready smile. He does not like to communicate with people. He can complete some simple instructions given by the teacher. He has no facial expression or reaction to strangers. A potential family should be open to speech and language delays. It’s hard to know how much of his needs are true needs versus issues from being abandoned at six at this point. What this child needs most is a family who is open to some unknowns and one who will love him unconditionally for who he is and what he can do!

He is close with his foster mother, and will always watch her when she is nearby, and dances with joy when she comes over to him. Timm has Down syndrome, as well as a congenital heart defect (ASD, PDA, and Pulmonary Hypertension). In May 2015 he had a surgical procedure for his heart and is said to have recovered well.

As of November 2017, he can sit, stand and walk while holding on to rails or by having both of his hands held. He is able to hold a bottle, but needs help when drinking from a straw. He does not yet use words but will make “ah” sounds to express his needs. He knows what ‘no’ means and will cry when disciplined. Timm can feed himself crackers and becomes happy when he sees food! Temple is not a good eater, and they are working with her to improve her nutrition. In her file, there is a description that may well be a bad translation, but the agency loves it. Under “Personality”, it say Temple is “relentless”. Perhaps, strong-willed is what they meant. But a relentless, adorable little girl will do well in life, for sure! Temple is not fond of being awakened to eat, but is typically a very happy little one. Because Teagan has Down syndrome, his physical development, intelligence and mental development developed slowly and was delayed compared to kids of similar age obviously, especially motion and flexibility of his limbs were slightly poorer. In recent years, with the efforts of this institute and foster parents, he can stand by holding onto objects, walk slowly. Now according to his growth foster parents offered him speech rehabilitative and limb training every day.

Teagan is shy, has a ready smile, likes to listen to music very much. When music plays all of his attention is attracted. When being glad he will swing his body following the musical rhythms. He likes to play toys very much, in particular toy cars are his favorite toys. We hope that he who is shy could become more and more active.

Isabella is a gorgeous little girl with congenital atresia of external auditory meatus of both ears and leukoma of both ears (translation error that should have said eyes).

Isabella has such a delicate face with the most beautiful lips. She loves to be clean and will cry to remind her caretaker when she goes to the bathroom and needs her diaper changed. After she is changed, she stops crying immediately. Isabella is always moving her eyes; it seems she may have some light perception. She has some hearing loss because of her atresia, but she can hear. By four months of age, Isabella was visually following the light, responding to loud sounds, and babbling. Isabella has rehabilitation training three times a week and is very cooperative. At the time her file was prepared, she was sitting and rolling over independently. She will laugh loudly and happily when called by her caretaker. Isabella loves to be cuddled and teased by her caretakers too. Her favorite toys are dolls. She is said to be a good eater and sleeper as well. Isabella is getting wonderful care while she waits for a family!
