Spencer is an adorable little guy who is 17 months old. He came into care when he was about 5 months old, malnourished and weak. Spencer was found to have Down syndrome, and after a few months in the orphanage, he was placed with a foster family. When he was 11 months old, he weighed 13.7 pounds. Spencer has the expected delays that can accompany Down syndrome. His malnutrition may have set him back a bit more. Spencer may have some degree of hearing loss, however he does respond to sound and was babbling when he was 11 months old. He likes toys with sound, and enjoys music. Spencer is a sweet baby boy, who needs a family, and therapies to help him grow and develop.
