February 2022 Update: Bhanu is a teensy tiny girl with a bigger than life smile! She might be tiny, but she is mighty! She knows what she wants and she is going to get it! She is a thinker and mischievous in the most adorable way. She is learning to communicate verbally and is not able to walk independently, but she sure is a hard worker! She speaks in single 1-2 syllable words in her native language. She is working on her daily living skills and likes brushing her hair. She is working on undressing and toileting independently but these skills are still emerging.

Bhanu can identify her colours, numbers to 10 and letters A-Z. She is learning the names of the animals in English. Bhanu stands and walks with support and works very hard in PT towards her goal of learning to walk independently. Bhanu can go up and down stairs independently using the railing. She stands by herself for short periods of time and her PT stands beside her and gives small corrections to help her balance. She feeds herself and loves chicken and sweets.

At the park, Bhanu wants to try out all the equipment! She sneakily tries to cut the lines to get to the front and makes sure her caregivers are beside her to help her out so she can take part! She loves dancing to music! She watches music videos and copies the dance moves. She got a baby doll for Christmas and likes to hold it and rock it.
