Boy, born August 2009
Down syndrome, congenital craniofacial disorder, congenital heart defect (surgically repaired)
I just LOVE this little boy! There is something so snuggly about him, he is aching for a mother of his own.
Darby was born with Down syndrome and a congenital craniofacial disorder. Last November, he had his first surgery which led to a huge improvement in his growth and development. Darby is an active and curious toddler. In those few months since the surgery, he started sitting and crawling well, and is now able to spend a lot of time playing with toys. To continue to grow and develop, Darby really needs a loving family!
Update, Sept 2011: Darby is expected to have an additional plastic surgery in the next few years. He is developing within the range of his age group. He was born from the healthy parents and inherited very good health. Darby is a very kind and friendly boy; he likes to play with other kids and share the toys.
Darby’s grant of $2573.00 has been gifted to Tatiana.
