Girl, born 2014
Down syndrome

Listed: November 2017

File update available from Jan 2018!  She is well-behaved for her foster family, and considered “high-functioning.”

Luna is a precious girl, born with down syndrome and a congenital heart defect-ASD. Her file is rather outdated, but some more recent pictures and videos were available! Her file notes that she went into a foster family on Oct. 31, 2014. She is said to have a good appetite and is close to her foster grandma. At the time her file was prepared, she was rolling over, sitting independently, and learning how to crawl.

Luna was even speaking simple words and knew her name at the time her file was prepared. She smiles at acquaintances, but is afraid of strangers. Luna loves to drink milk and is an active little girl who likes crowded places, listening to music, toys that make sound, and outdoor activities.

There is a $5,000 agency grant for Luna’s adoption.

$2,445.05 has been donated towards the cost of my adoption!

Your gift will serve ALL of the children, as 10% of each Waiting Child Donation is shared with our Voice of Hope fund, as well!
