Girl, born 2013
Down syndrome, Congenital Heart Defect (VSD)

Listed: August 2017

Lois is an adorable little girl who will soon be turning two years old! From her pictures, you can see that Lois was in complete failure to thrive mode — just look at her now…the changes in her looks alone are simply amazing! Lois is said to really enjoy sitting in the walker or in the red skate cart. She has a ready smile that she can’t wait to show her forever family. Lois gets along well with others and is said to be active. She has a good appetite and is a sound sleeper. Lois has been in the healing home since August of 2016.  It is reported that Lois has grown beautifully. Her developmental delays seem to be very significant. She is not interactive with others, including her nannies. She is making sounds, but not words. There are still many unknowns about the extent of her delays. Agency staff met Lois in November of 2016. It is clear she has grown and changed significantly in the past year. We can’t wait to see the amazing changes she’d make in a forever family with the love and supports she needs to continue thriving!

There is a $5,000 agency grant currently available from the agency who currently has her file.
