Alicia is so excited about becoming a first time mom!  And we are excited for her to be adopting through our newly expanded Russia program.  What a blessing to be able to finally give these children a voice through Reece's Rainbow!

Alicia has always known adoption would be part of her life and was waiting for the timing to be right so it could become a reality.  Alicia has been a special education teacher since 2001 and has a special place in her heart for all individuals with disabilities.  When she began sharing her plans of adopting a child with Down Syndrome, many people close to her simply nodded and said ?Of course?.  It wasn?t a surprise to them that this was the direction her life would take! 

Although Alicia is not married, she knows she will not be alone in raising this precious child.  Alicia and her future daughter are now and will forever be loved and supported by their amazing family and close friends.  They are all looking forward to having this little one home with her forever family!
