Families interested in adopting special needs children from EE-5 should submit a letter of introduction to the Central Authority through the adoption agency in order to request more information on the available children. The Ministry has agreed to send additional information and a photo of any child the family wishes to adopt. The agency will help each family to prepare the letter and will forward it to EE-5. The Agency’s representative will translate and submit the letter of introduction to the Ministry. As soon as the Ministry responds, the Agency will forward the information on the child to the family. We welcome the opportunity to help you find the child the Lord has prepared for your family.

Claudia

girlsillouettenophotoGirl, 4 y.o., born 2010
Vision impairment

Listed: October 1, 2015

Claudia lives with a foster family. She has mixed health and developmental problems. Her right eye is missing, and instead she has implant prosthesis. Left eye vision is weaker and she wears glasses.

She doesn’t need a diaper during the day. She walks alone, without support. She can ride a bike. She can hold a spoon or fork but still needs some help with her food. She doesn’t have a good appetite. She is a happy child who smiles frequently. She expresses her happiness and joy with words and actions (hugs).  Claudia’s speech is delayed, her sentences are short, simple and sometimes unclear.

Claudia shows obvious interest for people in her environment. She is bonded to foster parents but she also puts trust in people she is not familiar with. When she upset, she is “unplugging” from contact and avoiding communication.  She is not attending kindergarten yet. She is not allergic on any kind of food or medicine.

The country will send a photo to a family, after they submit a letter of interest.
