Region 48

Three trips are required
Both parents have to travel for 1st and 2nd trip
First trip is 5-6 days including travel
Second trip is 5-6 days including travel
30 day wait between trip 2 and 3
Only one parent needs to travel for 3rd trip (9-13 days depending on region)
one to two months between trip 1 and 2
Family size restrictions discussed on a case to case basis
No more then 48 year age difference between adoptive parents and the child
Total expense with travel, airfare, hotels and fees is between $55,000-60,000
Families may apply for a grant up to $5000 through the agency
Married couples and single mothers may apply
