Willow is a beautiful, bright girl. Despite Down syndrome, she has a strong character and tries to do everything in her own way. Willow - the person, is interesting, though she lives in her special world. The girl is actively developing different activities, toys, develops – with a delay, but the dynamics are.
In a family with attentive parents Willow can achieve a lot.
A family met Willow in June 2012: She’s a very cute little girl. She looked happy and she’s definitely well taken care of. I know that she had some heart issues early on and her health and development has been affected by that.
Willow walks with help. She can walk if people are holding onto both hands or if she has something to push while she’s walking. She cannot run yet. She prefers to be alone and she’s very serious. You have to work to get her to laugh. She likes music. She’s not aggressive with other children. The staff really like her. There’s one caregiver in particular who is in love with her. That particular person, she has bonded with.
They estimate that Willow is developmentally at the 1 year mark. She makes sounds, but not words. She can understand what is said to her and she recognizes her name. They believe she would do really well in a family and needs individual attention.
Willow’s grant of 1432.50 was reallocated to Corwyn.

Always glad to adult attention, easily attaches to those who see the time, is not afraid of new people. The girl is in good health and group friendly, open. Melanie is waiting when her mom and dad come!”
