Valentina 14

Born December 2007
HIV+

She is described as being a calm girl. She does not have any siblings. Additional photos available. She is an interesting and positive girl. Sometimes she prefers to play by herself. She is happy to communicate and interact with her nannies.

From one of our adoptive families who visited with her in 2012:  “Valentina is very sweet. She seems to be somewhat delayed, and would very much benefit from a family and an opportunity for some individual attention. Right now she is too old to play with the babies and too young to fit in with the big girls.   In spite of this, she always seems happy and content.   She very much loved playing with us outdoors and seems very active. ”

Valentina’s grant of $358.50 has been gifted to Allicia.

Arina Y. 14G

qs7w -14
Girl, born September 2008
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Dark
Character: calm, quiet

Diagnosis: Down syndrome

Tiny Arina weighs just 17 lbs. She can walk independently and pick up small objects. She does not play with toys and throws (surprisingly far considering her teeny size!) whatever she picks up. She loves to be held, lifts her arms to be picked up and climbs into offered arms or laps immediately. She has an endearing habit of taking the hands of the person on whose lap she is sitting and pulling them around her in a hug. She makes consistent, steady eye contact, but does not respond to or imitate facial expressions or sounds. She turns when her caregivers say her name and seems to recognize and prefer them. She tires and overwhelms easily and chews her thumbs, flicks or sucks her tongue or grinds her teeth. These behaviors stop as soon as she is held close and gently rocked.

Arina is in a very good baby house, but will be transferred soon. This little cuddlebug needs a mama to scoop her up and snuggle her until she is ready to come out of her shell!  Lots more photos available, SINGLE MOMS WELCOME.  This is a great region to adopt from!

Arina’s grant of $1482.50 was gifted to Lanie.

“In the highest Volochek live girl – Vicky. The girl’s alive, radiant blue eyes, a mischievous “tail”, winning smile and open face. It is well built, childishly naive and coquettish – a child wants to love, embrace, lisping with him.   She is always glad to new people, smiles all around, laughing loudly and zalivisto, fins and happy sitting on their hands. Wick – a lovely little girl, clockwork, energetic, affectionate and sociable, and in general, little girl, whose place at home, at the table with mom and dad, where you can happily talk down, sitting on a high chair, twist and tuck into cakes with apples …

In May 2005, in maternity mom did not know that her daughter will be a bright and good, she thought that this child with Down syndrome becomes a burden and an object of ridicule, and therefore given it up …

Vike almost 3 years, her illness with proper care, attention and care can be greatly adjusted. And now it is not very different from their peers. Vikusya already said a few words, knows the names of animals and birds can show them the picture. Of course, it is not very assiduously in the classroom, her mood quickly changed. But she already knows itself to assemble and disassemble pyramids, cups-liners, understands the differences in the sizes of objects can draw straight lines and closed lines. Likes to play with the doll, feeding her, shakes and washes. Girl with easily imitate adults, able to dress with a little help, eating – not a bit careful, but herself, asking for a pot, washes his hands … She loves affection. Vika – a normal child.
