Sizeable Grants ($15,000+)

It is our true belief that there is a “forever family” for each of our waiting orphans with special needs. The purpose of Reece's Rainbow is to raise funds as adoption grants, to help potential adoptive families with the high cost of giving these children the life they so richly deserve.

Your donations and advocacy turn the child on the left into the child on the right!

This page includes the profiles of those children with more than $15,000+ in grant funding available. Put on your WARRIOR shoes and help us find families! PLEASE SHARE THIS PAGE, that others will see it and take that leap of faith to save a child in need.

Dante L3

boysillouettenophotoBoy, Born April 2000

Dante is a handsome young man! Nearly 14 years old and full of life and potential.  Considered quite high functioning by the staff and caregivers.  Very smart, active, friendly, helpful…enjoys the computer very much, as well as hockey and basketball.  Loves people and playing with other children, but likes to have his own time as well.  Speaks well, understands clearly, responds appropriately.   He even knows how to ride a bike safely in the street!  He is generous with his things, but also takes care of them.  (I’m wondering where I can get a child like this!?  Wow!)

He does seem to need glasses (he squints a lot).   Full medical and social history available.

Praying Dante will not have to wait one second longer now that he has a voice and a chance through Reece’s Rainbow.  Older parents and large families welcome, single moms welcome.  Wonderful program!

$15,036.00 has been donated towards the cost of my adoption!

Your gift will serve ALL of the children, as 10% of each Waiting Child Donation is shared with our Voice of Hope fund, as well!

Vaughn

CO-A
Down syndrome, otherwise reported to be healthy

What a handsome young fella!  I adore how he’s standing with his hands in his pockets.  Vaughn is now 8, and at a great age to join his forever family.  This is a great program with a wonderful agency partner.  Hope you will consider Vaughn as your son!

UPDATE:
The last report from December 2014 states that his overall health is good. He has gained some weight. Still lives in a foster home where he has activities to help him with his skills and development, he is in the first grade at a school for special needs children. He loves to watch the TV program “Dora la exploradora” and playing with lego games. He likes to help around the house.

Blessing

BlessingGirl, born 1999
Down syndrome

Blessing AGES out in June 2015!! A Family MUST file their I600A before her birthday in June or she will be LOST forever!!!

From a family who has met her:  She is very small physically and needs to be adopted right away while she still has time to grow and benefit from good nutrition and affection!! She appears very alert and bright, with a sweet personality!

From another family who met her:  This precious girl stole my heart. Whenever I saw her she was always so quiet, calm and very much to herself. I did not see her interact with other children but given the opportunity she will flourish!

From someone who met her in 2013: I met Blessing in 2013 while on a mission trip. I didn’t interact very much with her, but from what I saw of her she is extremely delayed. When she was not receiving physical therapy or in her Montessori-type class she was always in her little chair stimming by herself. I think she has institutional autism on top of her DS. She really needs a lot of love and care, and a family who understands how extensive her needs really are.

Blessing can be adopted with Kristopher, Brayden, Jett, Cambria, or Dylan.

A family with previous adoptive experience, of older children out of institutional settings, would be the best choice for Blessing.

$18,813.62 has been donated towards the cost of my adoption!
