Board of Directors
Reece’s Rainbow Down Syndrome Adoption Grant Foundation’s Board consist of 4 members, who are business leaders or owners, a parent who has a child with a disability, such as Down syndrome, or are educators knowledgeable and experience in the field of mental and physical disabilities.
Reece’s Rainbow currently works with several volunteers with its programs and services, including the Angel Tree Fundraiser Event, Family Coordinators for various European countries, and a grant writing committee.
Our Board of Directors includes a variety of stakeholders, including:
- Individuals with prior business experience
- Two former educators
- Adult Adoptee
- Families who have adopted internationally
- Representation from Donors and Benefactors
- Parents of children with special needs
At this time, nominees for positions for the Board of Directors are by invitation only.
The board of directors meets on a quarterly basis and holds special meetings on an as-needed basis when necessary.
Subcommittees are created from time to time for special projects. For example, a Branding Committee was created to review the mission and vision of the organization.
