WillisBoy, born October 2008
PRC
Limb difference

Willis can be a little shy and quiet. When he came into care, he was malnourished and a little small for his age. The orphanage noticed that he was having trouble keeping his food down so they took him to the doctor where they found that he had a malrotation in his intestines. The doctors did a Ladd procedure and Willis has been doing well ever since. Willis does not have the radius or ulna in his left arm and only has 3 fingers. He can hold a toy and put on his clothes with using this arm. He currently goes to kindergarten and is doing great in school. Willis is able to speak in full sentences and ask questions. He is still a little bit smaller than my friends, but it does not slow him down!
