Diagnosis: infantile cerebral palsy and congenital adrenal hyperplasia
Nathaniel is 2 years old. Despite the limb spasticity, the boy walks when held by the hands. As for the congenital adrenal hyperplasia, the boy takes medications that have been prescribed by an endocrinology specialist and those successfully compensate this condition.
He moves around in a baby walker to get where he wants to go. He can get to a kneeling position independently and also crawls. He plays with toys, will reach for a desired object, places objected into boxes/containers and has a good attention span for his age. He says bravo and blows kisses. He interacts appropriately with caregivers and enjoys their attention. He maintains eye contact and is aware of everything going on around him. He makes noises to get people’s attention and then smiles when they respond. He follows simple verbal instructions such as “give it to me” and “come here”.
Because we only have this child’s file for a short time, he will not be able to receive donations until a family is found for him.
