Diagnosis: bilateral neuro-sensory loss of hearing – mild degree and cerebral palsy – right-sided hemiparesis.
Samuel was abandoned on the steps of the baby orphanage when he was a baby. He wears orthotics. He walks and carries out all self-help skills independently. He talks, answers questions and interacts appropriately with his peers. He attends school. He is listed as having some mild learning delays, though much of it can be attributed to his mild hearing loss and the fact that this issue is not addressed. Professionals who have met him indicate that he can hear when spoken to as long as the person speaks louder than normal.
Because we only have this child’s file for a short time, he will not be able to receive donations until a family is found for him.
