Intellectual delay

Sunny is a precious 10 year old girl who is waiting to find her forever family. At this time, she is living with a foster family; however, she is eager to have a family of her own. Sunny has been living with a foster family for almost 5 years. Under the care of this family, Sunny has grown up healthily. She is a restless and optimistic little girl who is very polite. Sunny enjoys watching cartoons, playing with toys, and playing games with her friends. The orphanage indicated that due to her life surroundings they have taken her to complete an IQ test in August 2012 which showed that she does have delayed intelligence compared to her peers. However, her gross motor skills, language abilities, and fine motor skills are doing well. Her delays primary effect her schooling. Sunny can write her own name, can say Pinyin, and knows common words. Sunny can do addition and subtraction within 100 and she is learning to speak and communicate in English! Sunny does have poor marks in school and she has troubles concentrating and paying attention during class. Even with this, Sunny really loves school and she gets along well with her classmates.

$5.00 is available towards the cost of my adoption!
