Boy, DOB: 2007
Diagnosis: hypotonic cerebral palsy & mild mental delays
(was previously listed as Connor)
Adam’s gross and fine motor skills are well developed. He walks, runs, dances, jumps, puts on his shoes independently, feeds himself, draws lines & circles, throws a ball, zips a zipper, threads beads and builds with blocks. He is able to copy patterns with blocks and build figures copying a model. He identifies parts of his body. His speech is delayed and he is currently only saying a few single words. He understands everything that is said to him, follows directions and can answer questions using gestures. When asked, “How old are you?”, he is able to show the correct answer with his fingers. He follows directions such as “put the ball under the table”. Videos from August 2013 show Adam dancing to traditional folk dances, interacting appropriately with staff, blowing kisses and interacting with the camera and appropriately following directions.
Additional photos and videos from August 2013 are available.
Because we only have this child’s file for a short time, he will not be able to receive donations until a family is found for him.
