CONNIE for the Walters family — TN
Glenn and Vashti Walters live in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and have three children, Amelia, Grant, and James Ivan. In 2011, God gave them a love for a child whose Reece’s Rainbow picture they had seen on Facebook via a Christmas Warrior. “Dillon” became James Ivan Walters in August of 2011 and has rocked the Walters’ world ever since!
Amelia and Grant started asking for a sister almost immediately and would peruse the Reece’s Rainbow “available children” looking for a sister. But it wasn’t until Amelia showed them Connie’s profile that God worked in Glenn and Vashti’s hearts and they knew they had found their daughter. Amelia and Grant both said they prayed about Connie without saying anything to their parents! God certainly does use children to do HIS work!
Connie is almost 10 years old and has been asking for a family of her own. God truly cares about the plight of orphans and Glenn and Vashti are so thankful for His mercy toward them and toward Connie!
