This adorable 2-year-old girl with Down syndrome has a surgically corrected cardiac malformation.  She is very cute!  She turns from back to belly. She remains in a seated position independently, when provided with support. She does not yet make attempts to stand up by herself. She produces sounds and sound combinations.She grabs and holds a toy that has been handed to her. The child’s caregivers report she tries to reach a toy independently. She follows moving objects with her eyes. She distinguishes between familiar and unfamiliar adults. She does not yet respond to being called by name. With a familiar caregiver she smiles and vocalizes.
