HOPE for the Hudson family — SC
Brandon and Misty have been married for over 7 years. They currently do not have any children; however, they are overjoyed that they will be able to start their new family through adoption. Growing up, Misty always had a passion for adoption. As Misty and Brandon began talking about their future family, Brandon thought that he wanted to have biological children first, and then they would look at adoption somewhere down the road. However, as he became more aware of his wife’s heart for adoption, and ultimately God’s heart for the orphan, his own heart began to change. After volunteering at different orphanages and organizations that care for orphans, Misty and Brandon became even more aware of the need for loving homes for orphans. Seeing the need first hand made them want to become a part of the solution, and to bring not only hope, but a loving home to an orphan.
When they started their adoption journey they were adopting domestically. However, shortly after, a mutual friend of theirs informed them of a beautiful little girl with cerebral palsy in a Chinese orphanage. God had placed it on his heart to find a home for this child. After finding out more information, and with much prayer, Brandon and Misty joyfully decided to move forward in the adoption of this precious child. They are incredibly grateful that they will be the parents of such an amazing little girl. Their child, even though thousands of miles away, holds such a huge place in their heart.
As the fees for international adoption are much higher than domestic, they would greatly appreciate any help you could give them to bring their child home. They are truly thankful for your prayers and your donations.
