AUTUMN for the Meeker family — TX
Amy and Bob Meeker have had a heart for orphans for many years. Initially they started their journey by creating a clothing closet for foster children at their church in 2007. They currently have 3 children; a biological daughter, Molly (age 5), an adopted son from Korea, Timmy (age 3), and an adopted daughter from China, Savannah (age 3). Both Timmy and Savannah were born with special needs. Timmy was born with a special heart. He has pulmonary atresia and tetraology of fallot. Sweet Savannah was born with congenitial hypothyroidism. It has been Bob and Amy’s greatest joy to watch their children grow and flourish in their home. Amy is a school teacher and Bob is a manager at Red Robin. They enjoy spending time with their families and many pets including 3 dogs, 2 birds and 1 kitty cat. In December of 2011 Amy was reading about precious Autumn on a advocate’s website. She fell in love with sweet Autumn and started praying for her to find a forever family. In the summer of 2012 Bob’s heart was moved by a video of Autumn that he saw. They prayed for many months and God confirmed to them that Autumn was indeed to be their daughter. They are super excited to welcome Autumn into their home. Their families and children are thrilled as well! They would like to thank everyone for praying for Autumn and for everyone’s generous support.
