Samuel and Sara are brother and sister, and they must be adopted together — they are in different orphanages in the same region.

 

From an adoptive family who met Samuel in 2012:  ” We met Samuel when we visited his orphanage with a woman who does outreach there.  He was included with the 15 most capable boys who got to participate in the program.  He sat sweetly in his wheelchair watching everything so quietly with a little smile on his face. You could see the wheels turning as he listened to the story.  He was too shy to do the motions to the songs, but was happy to hold my hand as we sang.   Samuel had so much joy in his face as he interacted with others. His smile is truly contagious! ”
