Hugh is diagnosed with an abnormality and curvature in his lower back. He is also not able to move his left leg. His right leg as well as his arms are strong and agile. In terms of motor development, he is doing well despite his condition. At the age of 16 months he could roll from side to side, crawl forth and back on his tummy using his arms, push himself up on his arms and hands, and move back and forth using his hips to find his favorite toys. Hugh is now 2 years old and is gentle, is interested with the colorful toys with sounds and people and objects near him.
