Elliot

Guardian Angel
Boy, born May 2002
HIV+

Can you believe those eyes? And that impish look on his face? You can tell by looking that this child is fun to be with. Elliot is described as well-behaved, kind, caring, and gentle. When another child from his group was adopted, Elliot became teary and wished the child good luck. He has no delays and lives in a facility that is reported to provide excellent care. Elliot wants a family.

From a family who visited with Elliot during a hosting session here in the United States:  “ He was happy to play alone, and equally happy to interact and play with us.   He is very smart, he is a wiz at Legos (his host family told us about his amazing creations).   He wasn’t overly affectionate, but at the same time he initiated a hug when it was time to leave.   Great eye contact, asks for help when needed.  He was making fun of me for my terrible Russian language skills.   Enjoys a good joke.  I noticed that he was very meticulous about wiping his hands with napkins after each slice of pizza and making sure his sleeves were rolled up, he has good hygiene. He was a good sport when he ran out of tokens and it was time to leave. He is in the 5th grade and performing at grade level. Certainly I’m not qualified to make a judgment like this- but to a novice, it seems like he would pick up English quickly and seamlessly fall into regular American middle school life.”

$6006.00 is available towards the cost of my adoption!
