YASMINE for the Thomson family — IL
Jim and Cathie have been married 21 years and have three beautiful children, Gabi (14), Xander (11), and Ian (4). Gabi loves to sing, run, and hang with her friends. Xander enjoys baseball and electronics (perhaps a bit too much!). Ian loves to dance and chase after the family dog, Lucky.
While initially surprised by Ian’s Down syndrome diagnosis, the family embraced this part of Ian and all that it entails. Ian had open heart surgery at 4 months of age and has been thriving ever since. It is because of all the love and wonderful lessons that Ian has taught the Thomsons that they are looking to add another blessing to their home.
Yasmine (2) is a cute blue-eyed girl with Down syndrome. Jim and Cathie don’t know much about her yet, but are trusting in God’s judgment. Oh and….Ian has given her a big thumbs up! They hope to meet Yasmine soon and bring her home to their family!
