KENDRA for the Rhodes family — VA
Marty and Mandy Rhodes just completed the adoption of their two new sons, Joseph and Samuel this past June. The Rhodes’ Kids, now include, Eli, Julie, Joseph and Samuel and many would say that’s plenty. However, when Marty and Mandy traveled to meet their son Samuel for the first time, they learned that he had a friend. Little Kendra and Samuel had been together since they were 1 month old and had been moved from their baby orphanage to a big kid orphanage together. The couple was sad to be separating these two, but at the time Kendra had a family committed to bringing her home. After being home with Joseph and Samuel for two months, Marty and Mandy found our that little Kendra was going to be available for adoption, as her previously committed family could not continue their journey. While saddened for the other family, the Rhodes’ didn’t hesitate in saying, “YES!” again. The entire family is looking forward to adding a girl! A sister for Julie and witnessing the reunion of Samuel and Kendra. Please consider joining them on their next adventure and helping bring Kendra home quickly!
