JULIA for the Valley family — ID
Ernie and Jamie were destined to love each other, they perfect for each other and count themselves blessed for every day they have had and will together. After a whirlwind romance and a short courtship Ernie and Jamie were married, almost 8 years later we have never been happier or laughed more. Ernie and Jamie decided pretty quickly after entering into their relationship that adoption would be part of their future. The Valleys have 3 children, Jewel (12) and twins Wolfgang and Jaeger (4), who are all very excited to welcome their new sister into their adventures. Jamie learned about Reece’s Rainbow shortly after friends of hers found their daughter there. That little girl would turn out to be a catalyst in our lives and our thoughts on international special needs adoption changed. Ernie and Jamie owe many thanks to that little girl and maybe one day they’ll be able to tell her so. As the medical issues they were willing to work with and accept became larger and larger, it became an understanding that a special needs adoption was in order for our family as well. After much soul searching, some, more than one unforeseen circumstance and lots of positive thoughts, Ernie and Jamie have found a little girl with a smile on her face and laughter in her eyes and as soon as they can make it so, that little girl will be sharing her smile and laughter with her new forever family, in her new forever home. The country that beautiful little girl lives in is closed to Americans for now, after that heartbreak they have found a silver lining. Ernie and Jamie are able to bring another beautiful child home and make her part of their family and a little sister. They are very excited to show her what a family is and what it is like to love, giggle before bed and be happy. Ernie and Jamie have learned that a house full of children makes a lifetime of laughter and are thankful to all the muses and catalysts they have encountered along the way.
