CLAUDIA for Kristen and Andrew –
Kristen and Andrew have a history of following their hearts. It only took one blind date for this young couple to know they were meant to be. Fast forward four years and they are happily married, living in their first house with three furry kids. Life felt pretty complete until one ordinary day when Kristen stumbled upon Reece’s Rainbow. Scrolling past so many little faces filled with hope and promise, Kristen was overwhelmed. As someone working in the early childhood special education field, she knew how much potential each child had if just given the opportunity. It was in that moment that she saw Claudia. Immediately a flood of images went through her mind and every single one included Claudia as a part of her and Andrew’s future. Suddenly-that “pretty complete life” felt like it was missing something pretty huge. It was a moment very reminiscent of that first blind date. It was meant to be.
Several weeks of intense soul searching, discussion, research, and a lot of prayer came down to one simple question, “Is this little girl our daughter?” They both knew the answer immediately and it didn’t come from research. It came from their faith that Claudia was always meant to be part of their life.
