NATALIE for the LeBu family — IL

Mike and Kelly have been married for almost twenty years and have four biological children.  Their youngest daughter was born with Down syndrome almost five years ago.  In 2009, Kelly came across a blog that described the plight of abandoned orphans with Down Syndrome in Eastern European countries. The blog included a link to Reece’s Rainbow.  After spending hours of reading through the web site (and shedding numerous tears!) Kelly and their oldest daughter Jesslyn signed up to be prayer warriors.  It was not the right time for Mike and Kelly to adopt back then. However, the issue never permanently left Kelly’s heart. Three years and several military moves later, God began nagging at Kelly’s heart and directing her once again to Reece’s Rainbow.  She and Mike tried to commit to two different boys at different times during the past year, but each time another family got there first!  Now they realize who God was trying to show them from the beginning and what Mike had been secretly hoping for… another little girl!   One night, they both separately scrolled through the faces of waiting children and felt God drawing them to the same little girl.. unbeknownst to each other!!  They decided to step out in faith and trust God to lead them on this journey towards bringing sweet little Natalie home.  The LeBu siblings can’t wait to meet their new little sister and are anxious to welcome her into the family!
