MICKEY and SHAWN for the Beck family — TX
Paul and Ashlee met when Paul was playing in a Christian band and Ashlee went to his concert. He noticed her right away because she looked like a farmer in her brown overalls and it was a punk concert. It was kinda love at first site. They were married 14 months later. They have been married 12 years. Ashlee has always had a heart for adoption being a former foster child, but Paul wasn’t always so sure. They prayed. After 4 biological girls God called them to their first son. Noah was 3 months old when they got him. He has Trisomy 8 a very rare genetic disorder. Then Paul surprised everyone and said when he saw “Mickey” he knew Mickey was his son. They started the process to adopt Mickey. Ashlee then saw “Shawn” and knew he was to be theirs too. All the kids are very excited to be getting 2 new brothers. Noah can not wait to have a few more on his side!!
