WALKER for the Lemarr family — TN

Whitney is a practicing small animal veterinarian who has always felt that adoption would be part of her life.  God laid the idea on her heart at a young age and as she became an adult she knew that special needs adoption would also be part of that calling.  She is a planner by nature, and with her plans she would have been waiting another year or two before moving forward, but that wasn’t what God had in mind.  Once she saw Walker on Reece’s Rainbow she was especially drawn to him and started praying for a family to find him.  After several months of prayer and consideration she realized that God was calling her to be his family and has stepped out in faith to make this happen.  She is currently awaiting her home study date and is excited about bringing her son home!  He has a passel of cousins, aunts, uncles, and his grandmother eagerly waiting to meet him as well.
