JONAS for the Bennett family — MI

Jerry and Jessica Bennett fell in love at first date nine years ago.  Eleven short months later they were married and preparing to start a family.  They soon discovered they would struggle with infertility for two and a half years before they were blessed with their first child.  When she was just over a year old, the Bennetts were surprised to learn they were pregnant again!  A son was born a few weeks before their daughter’s  second birthday.  Now ages five and three they are best friends and the light of their parents’ lives.

 

During the time before their first was born, Jerry and Jessica considered the possibility of adoption.  Years later, that seed of an idea has grown and blossomed and is now a reality.  After viewing photos on the Reece’s Rainbow website, Jerry and Jessica fell in love with a boy named Jonas (meant to be, eh?).  His eyes and smile captured their hearts.  When Jessica told her children of the journey on which they would embark, Julianna’s eyes lit up.  She jumped for joy and told her mother, “Another little brother?  Now I am going to be a REALLY big sister!”  The children now ask daily if Jonas is on the airplane yet and when will he be here.

 

This family that loves to laugh can’t wait to welcome Jonas home.
