Diagnosis: Down syndrome, heart-ASD, not repaired
Family history: 2 siblings have died from alpha 1 anti-trypsindeficiency, which is a genetic condition
Birth history: Cyanosis was observed at birth (skin appeared blue). hypoexemic ischemic encephalopathy (lack of oxygen to the brain) was established at 5 days old.
URGENT NEED of a family.
Evelyn is 3 years old. She is frequently sick with breathing related illnesses and urinary tract infections.
She sits up unassisted, crawls and pulls to a stand. She is up and walking now! She responds to her name by looking toward the person who calls it. She is beginning to make sounds to get attention, but will not mimic purposeful sounds or words. She exhibits auto-aggression (hurting herself) and aggression toward others.
She reaches for toys. She eats mashed foods from a spoon. She is not toilet trained.
