An adorable, affectionate and cuddly TWENTY TWO MONTH old baby girl with Down Syndrome and developmental delay. She has a loveable demeanor and has captured the hearts of those around her. Upon birth she was diagnosed with Atrial Septal Defect (ASD), Chronic lung disease and Hypothyroidism. She is currently receiving nasal oxygen 24 hours per day but still manages to smile and enjoy her surroundings. She is fed through a tube presently and her caregivers state she has normal hearing and vision. She receives physiotherapy and occupational therapy training and her doctors state she would be fine for air travel if adopted. She enjoys hearing music and songs and likes to take her bath. She is responsive to people around her and she likes to be held and hugged. She currently lives in a hospital setting as there is no other placement available to her at the present time. Her nurses and caregivers feel great sadness that she has no home and no family and feel she needs both urgently. Along with professional support and medical resources it is believe that this precious girl will be a blessed addition to her forever family.
