Girl, born 4/10/10

We would like to introduce this little sweetheart to you all! She is a beautiful 1.5-year-old with Down syndrome and congenital heart disease. She is a cheerful and curious little girl, who captures the heart of many staff and volunteers at the hospital. She is in need of night-time oxygen and gastrotomy feeding at the moment. She has been staying in the hospital since she was born and is currently waiting for more permanent residential placement. Her cardiac prognosis is good.   It is planned that after her tonsillectomy surgery in October, 2011 she will be able to move into a residential home while she waits for her forever family to find her. Hopefully she will be able to be weaned from the oxygen at night after her surgery. She is urgently in need of a loving adoptive family who is willing to commit and embrace her as their daughter! Her resilient spirit and cheerful demeanor would make her an easy baby to love!!
