Marley #60-1

Girl, born 2005
Diagnosis: Developmentally delayed

Marley is physically healthy, with no known medical conditions. She is very small for her age. She can walk, run, go up and down steps, climb, swing, etc. There are no delays with her gross motor skills. Her fine motor skills are mildly delayed. She still needs some assistance with zippers and buttons when putting on clothes. She can put on her shoes independently if they Velcro. She can not tie them. She can undress herself and feed herself with a spoon. She colors with crayons, though that activity does not interest her and she will quickly begin to play with the crayons in other ways (stacking them up). She recognizes other children and adults and can identify them by name. She says “hello” when someone enters the room. She can say some words and also sings songs. She follows verbal directions when they are given.  She imitates the desired motions during games and songs. She has recently started throwing toys when she doesn’t get her way.  She has also started getting extremely upset when she doesn’t get her way and will bang her head and throw a fit.
