Butler #11-14

 

Diagnosis: Cerebral Palsy in lower limbs w/hypotrophic muscle tone, hydrocephalus

 

 

Butler is 4 years old and weighs 23 pounds. He can sit up, stand while holding on to the side of his crib and walk in a walker. He eats mashed food from a spoon. He has a 1:1 volunteer that interacts with him daily. His report describes him as an emotional child who will play with toys but often throws them. It goes on to say that he only partially shows interest in things happening around him and doesn't always respond appropriately to light and sound. Video clips of Butler are available. In the videos, he's interacting with the staff, responding to those who are speaking to him, engaging in play and showing some personality. 

 

 

Butler is in an orphanage where all of the children are very small and malnurished. 

He needs a family that can work QUICKLY through the process.
